Meet Paula Joe

Hello! I’m Paula, a native Californian and a licensed speech therapist in Orange County. My passion is helping non-native English speakers communicate with clarity and confidence. I've had the pleasure of guiding clients from diverse global backgrounds since 2012, and I’m dedicated to helping you refine your English pronunciation so your message is heard as you intend it.

I bring a unique combination of expertise to my work. As a licensed speech therapist with a Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), I have a deep understanding of the unique communication challenges you face. This dual background allows me to accurately pinpoint the specific consonants, vowels, and intonation (speech melody patterns) that can be modified for optimal clarity.

My approach is designed to help you overcome communication barriers at work and have smoother conversations in your social life. I am dedicated to creating a positive and supportive learning environment, and I find it incredibly rewarding to see clients build greater self-confidence as their communication skills flourish.
